HBK Summer Exam Results, Summer 2025


A Level Results 

Huge congratulations to our students and staff on achieving our best ever set of Post 16 results. The students have worked incredibly hard to achieve a set of results of which they should be extremely proud.
The percentage of students attaining A*-B is 59 % and the number of A* grades remains very high at 8%. The overall pass rate remains 99.7%. The vocational results were also outstanding with 100% pass rate. Thank you to both the students and staff for all their hard work.

Vicky Rix, Head of Sixth Form at Hinchingbrooke, said: 
“I am absolutely delighted by these results. This cohort were a delight to work with in our Sixth Form and we are excited to discover what the future holds now they have achieved these fantastic outcomes. Our staff always go above and beyond to ensure our students reach their potential, for which we sincerely thank them. We would also like to thank the parents and carers for the role they have played, supporting their child on their journey through our Sixth Form. Well done to all!”
Principal, Andy Hunter said:
“This is an exceptional set of results from a group of students who really made the most of their time at Hinchingbrooke Sixth Form. They have been wonderful young leaders and role models for our younger students, as well as working hard academically. They richly deserve this success.”

GCSE Results 

We are enormously proud of the achievements of out Y11 cohort this year, who have been awarded our best ever GCSE results. More students than ever before achieved both English and Maths at grade 5 or above, and at 4 and above . This extremely strong set of results will set them up well for their next steps, either at Hinchingbrooke Sixth Form, or at another Post-16 centre.

Vice Principal Anna Nightingale said: "This year group have worked exceptionally hard and taken every opportunity offered to them, and so deserve this fantastic set of results. They should be exceptionally proud of themselves, and we wish them every success in their future endeavours."
Principal Andy Hunter said: “Since they missed Year 6 SATS due to Covid, this group of students have been living with a level of uncertainty about how they might perform at GCSE. They have answered that question loud and clear – they performed superbly. Due to their hard work and determination, they have set a new benchmark for success at Hinchingbrooke School.”
