To Apply & Transition information
We hope you and your family are safe and well.
If you are an applicant to the Sixth Form you should have received information from us by email. If this is not the case, please do contact us at email@example.com, and we shall get straight back in touch.
We are pleased to announce that we will be running our Induction Days remotely this year on Tuesday 7th July and Wednesday 8th July. Please see the Induction Information 2020 pages for more information and keep an eye on your emails where important information will be sent to you soon.
Induction booklets were posted in May to all applicants who have an offer with us. The Transition Work has already been placed on the 'To Apply' pages of this website. If you have any questions about this or any aspect of coming to the Sixth Form please do contact us at the Sixth Form.
Our best wishes to you at this very unsettling and strange time.
For late applications, please apply through
Thank you if you are considering an application to join the Sixth Form here for September 2020. Please contact us at the Sixth Form Office (firstname.lastname@example.org) if you have any questions about this.
The Induction Programme for 2020 entry is on Tuesday 7th and Wednesday 8th July 2020, which will involve team-building, teaching of study skills, and taster lessons in your subjects. All students who have been offered a place with us are strongly encouraged to come.
If you are a current Hinchingbrooke student, you should have applied through mychoice16.co.uk. This was introduced in form times last term.
The application window closed on Monday 13th January, but we welcome late applications. Interviews are taking place in late January and early February. Conditional offers to internal candidates will be made by distributing offer letters on Wednesday 12th February. If you are applying from another school we will make you a conditional offer as soon as we are satisfied of your reference and predicted grades, usually at interview.
If you are a student from other school, you will also need to apply through www.mychoice16.co.uk. The online application form remains open for late applications. If your current school does not use the website, please apply by going onto the www.mychoice16.co.uk website, registering yourself with them as an independent candidate, and going through the application process. If you have any problems or concerns regarding this please do phone or email us at the Sixth Form (email@example.com). We will need a reference confirming your predicted grades, either uploaded onto the application, or sent separately.
