Contextual Information for Universities
Hinchingbrooke School is a larger than average 11-18 comprehensive secondary school (NOR 1899) and part of the ACES Multi-Academy Trust. There are currently 414 students in the Sixth form who are drawn predominantly from the school population, although around 30% are drawn from other institutions. The school's mainstream catchment area is Huntingdon and the surrounding villages to the South and West of the town. The Sixth Form offers 35 level 3 subjects; 25 A levels and 6 Applied A Levels/BTECS. We also offer a number of one year courses, including the EPQ, Core Maths and ASs in MFL. Our standard entry requirements are 5 grade 5s at GCSE, including Maths and English. Some A level subjects have additional requirements including Maths, the Sciences and Computer Science.
