Sixth Form Ball

A wonderful Sixth Form Ball.

The Sixth Form Ball was graced with our largest ever number of students, our largest ever number of staff, and a fine, if chilly, evening. As always the students enter the wonderful surroundings of the Apostle’s Court via the Gate House to the sound of jazz, but quickly find their way to the marquee pulsing with the sound of hip hop. Highlights included the Bucking Bronco, from which flailing wannabee hard men were hurled onto a cushioned inflatable surround, an ice cream van offering free Flake 99s, two photo booths, and the lovely grounds lit by globe lanterns suspended from the trees. Many thanks to the Summer Ball Committee who worked so hard to make this an excellent evening, one of whom found out early in the year she would be unable to come, but carried on fulfilling her role.
