‘Your Life’ is a three-year campaign to ensure young adults in the UK have the maths and science skills needed to succeed in the current competitive global economy. It looks to inspire young people, especially girls, to study maths and physics, particularly at A level, as a gateway into wide-ranging careers, whilst also triggering employers to recruit and retain this talent.

As teachers and parents, we have the unique ability to inspire confidence and self-belief in children; helping them to make choices that will steer them towards amazing opportunities and fulfilling careers.

Led by some of the UK’s leading companies and entrepreneurs and supported by Government, the campaign will show young people the full extent of what maths and physics will allow them to achieve. According to ‘Your Life’ the top ten highest paid jobs for graduates all involved maths and science skills, as well as providing exciting opportunities to shape our world.

In the coming weeks and months we will continue to promote STEM careers (i.e. Science, Technology, Maths and Engineering). Specifically through taking part in a National competition run by the ‘Your Life’ campaign - called ‘Formula 100’. The aim is to discover some of the UK’s most creative young minds. The organisers state that the prizes may possibly include the opportunity to make the invention a reality, a place at the One Young World Summit, a day with the Premier League, a day with the UK Space Agency and a day with the software development team at Sky
