NSPCC Number Day/Non-Uniform Day – Tuesday 3rd December 2013

We are excited to be supporting the NSPCC by taking part in “Number Day” on Tuesday 3 December 2013.

Number Day, sponsored by Vosene Kids for the third year, is a fun-packed event, where schools take part in a range of exciting maths activities to raise money and make a real difference to the lives of vulnerable children across the UK.

At Hinchingbrooke School we are very proud to be able to use our knowledge of numeracy and numeracy skills to make a difference to children’s lives that need it most.

In the week of Number Day our students will be following a numeracy and NSPCC  focused week in form times, assemblies and also a numeracy inter-house competition called: “Get in Shape”

This year we will be taking part in “Dress up for Digits” where pupils will be invited to wear an item of clothing with a number on (football shirt, cap, netball shirt, a onesie). To help raise money for the NSPCC, we are asking for a donation of £1 from every child who would like to take part in this special event.

This themed non-uniform day will take place on Friday 6th December 2013.

The NSPCC urgently needs funds to protect even more children from abuse and neglect. With your help and by your child taking part in Number Day, the NSPCC can continue to be there through its projects and services including ChildLine – the UK’s free, confidential 24-hour helpline and online service for children and young people in distress or danger, as well as the NSPCC’s helpline for adults who are concerned about a child. We hope your child enjoys Number Day and that together, we can raise as much money as possible for the NSPCC.

Thank you for your support.
