Student Awarded Place at International Ballet School
13 Year old Molly Hall, a year 9 pupil from Hinchingbrooke School, has been awarded a place at Elmhurst Ballet School (in association with Birmingham Royal Ballet), starting in the summer term.
Molly, who has studied Cecchetti Ballet with Carolyn Parker's Classical Ballet School in Brampton since the age of 6, auditioned in January for her place with other young dancers from the UK and from around the world. After a second audition in February she has been awarded a scholarship and an early entry place after Easter.
Molly was also the winner of The Mabel Ryan Award, Middle section, part of the annual Cecchetti Classical Ballet Awards held at the Lilian Baylis Theatre, Sadlers Wells, London, last November.
Molly has also just heard from the Royal Ballet, Covent Garden, that she had been awarded a place with the Royal Ballet Senior Associates programme.
