Year 7 – Year 9 Dali Trip to Figueres, Spain
We would like to inform you that on the 14 – 21st June 2013, your child has the opportunity to visit beautiful Cataluña, on the north-eastern Spanish coast. The trip is aimed at those students who are interested in Art, ICT and/or Spanish language. This trip includes approximately six lunchtime sessions before the trip takes place – these sessions are compulsory.
We will stay in Figueres, where one of the greatest and most fascinating Spanish painters, Salvador Dalí, was born. We are planning to visit the amazing Theatre-Museum where his work is show-cased as well as his beautiful house near the picturesque white-washed village of Cadaques. Your child will also have the opportunity to practise Spanish by meeting and conversing with local people. In addition, we plan to go sightseeing and shopping, experience real Spanish food, go to the beach and visit the famous Aquapark.
