Week Beginning 23rd May 2016
Great news, this week we have received the Ofsted report and we have been confirmed as being a 'Good' school.
After waiting for Ofsted's arrival since September, the inspection is over and the judgement is 'Good'. We had both a 5 strong inspection team in for two days and an HMI Inspector for a further 4 hours to confirm that the school has made significant progress since the last inspection in February 2014.
This news is particulalry welcome as recognition for all the hard work completed by the school as a community. The students were a credit to both us and their parents and the inspectors saw the school as it really is.
The full report can be viewed by clicking on the Ofsted icon on the home page, along with a copy of the letter send home to parents this week.
On Tuesday 7th June there is an opportunity to hear more, by attending the Parents' Forum at 7pm. We will also be looking at the issue of how we communicate all we are doing to parents and improving our PR. If you are interested in coming along, then please contact Jackie Moore (jm@hinchbk.cambs.sch.uk) so we can confirm a venue based on numbers. I hope to see many of your there.
In the meantime, have a great half term...it is certainly well earnt at this end!
