School Uniform – New Online Provision
From July 12th 2012 school uniform will be available for purchase online from an external supplier. We believe the new process will provide a simple and effective way for parents to purchase uniform directly from Price & Buckland helping to ensure a consistency in the style and quality of the provision.
From July 12th 2012 school uniform will be available for purchase online from an external supplier. We believe the new process will provide a simple and effective way for parents to purchase uniform directly from Price & Buckland helping to ensure a consistency in the style and quality of the provision. There will still be a facility in school for those families who cannot access the internet. The Hinchingbrooke School uniform shop will cease to operate from 1st July onwards.
Parents are encouraged to purchase all the school uniform from the website, but are free to buy trousers and skirts from other suppliers as long as the style is the same as the one described on the school website.
Information about the new online process and the link to the new uniform shop will be posted on the school website Homepage> Daily life> School Uniform page from 12th July 2012. There will be clear instructions showing how to place orders and Price and Buckland will provide a helpdesk number to assist with any questions or enquiries.
In the current economic climate we do anticipate that there will be some increase in the cost of some uniform items. If you need financial support to purchase uniform, applications can be made to access the financial assistance fund by writing to Peter Brennan (Acting Deputy Head Ethos) pb@hinchbk.cambs.sch.uk We do also have some quality second hand donated items which are available to students for a small donation. New Sports Kit for Year 7 Students Joining Hinchingbrooke in September 2012
Please note that there will be a new design of sports shirt and rugby shirt for the new Year 7 students starting in September 2012. Details of the new year 7 form groups and their house colours will be sent out during the week commencing 6th July along with details of how to purchase the school uniform.
Current Year 7-11 will retain the old design of sports polo and rugby shirts at competitive prices and until stocks run out these will be on sale in school. If you would like to order these sports items please use the attached form and return it to Main Reception with payment. If you are purchasing other uniform items we would ask you to use the online system after 12th July.
