2025 has been an exceptional A-Level results day for Hinchingbrooke School students, who achieved our best ever Post-16 results.

Pupils at the Huntingdon school had an overall pass rate of 99.7 per cent, with the number of A* grades attained at 8%.  59% of students achieved grades ranging from A* to B. The vocational results at the school had an "outstanding" 100% pass rate.

Some of the highest achievers at the school include:

Blake achieved five A* grades and Leon attained four A* grades.  Rosie picked up three A* grades and one A, and Jemima Turner received three A*s, as did Malachy.  Connor, Ashley, Agatha and Pippa all attained two A*s and two As.  Ines achieved two A*s and an A.

Rosie will be attending the University of Oxford to study biology and will be joined by her best friend, Ines  at the University where she will study psychology and philosophy.

Vicky Rix, Head of Sixth Form at Hinchingbrooke, said she was "absolutely delighted by these results".  "This cohort were a delight to work with in our Sixth Form and we are excited to discover what the future holds now they have achieved these fantastic outcomes."

She also thanked staff, "who go above and beyond", parents and carers for their involvement in the student's success.

Principal, Andy Hunter said: "This is an exceptional set of results from a group of students who really made the most of their time at Hinchingbrooke Sixth Form.  "They have been wonderful young leaders and role models for our younger students, as well as working hard academically. "They richly deserve this success.
