HBK Design Ventura 2025

Our year 10 Design Technology students spent the first part of their year working on the Design Ventura competition, run by The Design Museum and Deutsche Bank. The competition aims to give students an understanding of what it takes to have a career within the design sector and how to work on a live brief.

As a school we are only able to enter one team and so the year 10 designers pitched their ideas to a panel of judges, with the winning team being made up of Billy Stapleton, Dexter Taylor, Freddie Sykes, Freddie Morgan and Sam Thirlwall.

Out of hundreds of schools that entered the competition, our HBK design team were selected to pitch their idea to a panel of professionals at the Deutsche Bank head office in London.
