The high performance academy within the PE department aims to highlight the success of our students who excel within their sport. The high performance academy is split into three strands: Bronze, Sliver and Gold pathways. The pathways are an indication of the students' level of performance. Therefore, if they compete at county level, they will be placed on the bronze pathway, regional representation on the silver pathway and national representation is the gold pathway. 

The students are allocated a mentor within the PE department who they can seek help and guidance and tell all of their latest achievements to.
