High Performance academy
The high performance academy within the PE department aims to highlight the success of our students who excel within their sport. The high performance academy is split into three strands: Bronze, Sliver and Gold pathways. The pathways are an indication of the students' level of performance. Therefore, if they compete at county level, they will be placed on the bronze pathway, regional representation on the silver pathway and national representation is the gold pathway.
The students are allocated a mentor within the PE department who they can seek help and guidance and tell all of their latest achievements to.

Leah Wagstaff GB Athlete – Hurdler Leah has been competing in athletics for six years and has won multiple national titles and won Internationally for England bringing home a Gold. Leah specialises in hurdles.

Sol Scott GB Gymnast Sol has been competing in gymnastics since he was 5 years old. He has represented in county, regional and his most recent achievements being European Team & Vault champion and British Vault and High bar Champion. |

Liam Conway GB Triathlete Liam has been competing in athletics from a young age and regularly has to fly near and far to compete for GB. Liam is a triathlete and has had a lot of success at English Schools racing 3K at a PB of 8:12

Harry Prince Regional rugby – Northampton Saints Harry has been playing rugby since a young age. He plays at Huntingdon Stags. Harry has progressed his rugby career and made it onto Northampton Saints DPP Harry plays flanker in rugby. |

Joe Geraghty Regional rugby – Northampton Saints Joe has been playing rugby since he was three. In 2021 he was made captain of his team. Joe has now progressed his rugby career and made it onto Northampton Saints DPP |

Ruby Brace Regional swimmer Ruby has been swimming for eight years and competing for City of Peterborough for 3 years. Ruby has taken part in Welsh Nationals and East Regionals. Ruby competes in Backstroke. |

Daniel Spencer Regional rugby – Northampton Saints Dan has been playing rugby since he was two. Dan plays Fly Half and has been at Northampton Saints on their DPP since he was 13. Dan plays flyhalf in rugby.

Kian Lee Regional Swimmer Kian has been swimming since a very young age and started competing when he was in year 2. Kian has attended regional competitions and Welsh Nationals securing a range of silverware.

Ted Purser Regional rugby – Northampton Saints Ted has been playing rugby since a young age. He plays at Huntingdon Stags. Ted has now progressed his rugby career and made it onto Northampton Saints DPP Ted plays Scrum Half in rugby.

Josie Milton Regional Ice Hockey Josie has been playing Ice Hockey for the last several years. She plays for two national Ice hockey teams – Cambridge Kodiaks and Milton Keynes Falcons where she trains endless each week. |

Riley Nash Regional rugby – Northampton Saints Riley has been playing rugby since a young age. He plays at Huntingdon Stags and has done for 7 years. Riley has been on the Northampton Saints DPP programme for the past three years. Ted plays outside centre in rugby.

Eloise Summers-Mee Tottenham Hotspur Football club Eloise has been playing football from a very young age and has been a standout in matches. Eloise’s most notable achievement was signing for the Tottenham Academy three years ago. |

Ellis Nash Regional rugby – Northampton Saints Ellis has been playing rugby since a young age and has progressed through Huntingdon Stags to the current U16 team. Ellis has most recently joined Northampton Saints DPP programme at a successful two trial sessions. |

Sam Woodhall Regional Runner Sam has been competing in running for several years now and is a 300m county and Eastern county. Sam competed in English schools earlier this year. |

Ashlee McCarthy Regional Swimmer Ashlee has been swimming since a very young age and has competed in many competitions in both indoor pools and open water. Ashlee specialises in butterfly and continues to strengthen her PBs each season. |

Alex Tulip Regional rugby – Northampton Saints Alex has been playing rugby since 2022 and plays Flanker at St Ives RUFC. Last season Alex represented the county and captained his team. This year Alex secured his place on the Saints DPP. |

Hannah Pye County Swimmer Hannah has been competing and swimming since a young age and represents the county within swimming. Hannah is also part of the school Netball Academy. |

Chris Plummer-Coles County Cricketer Chris has been playing Cricket for numerous years and has been in the county team for the past several seasons. Chris is a batter and a bowler in cricket. Chris represents club, county and the school team.

Ellen Lemmon County Cricketer Ellen plays club and county cricket and is a very strong bowler on the pitch. Ellen has been playing cricket since a young age and also represents the school Netball academy. |

Sofia Hucklesby-Rivara County Cricketer Sofia plays cricket for club and also has been selected to represent her county. Sofia is a strong batter and bowler and is representing her club and county for the past three years. |

Ivia Pigg Regional Rower Ivia has been a county rower for the past five years and competes in singles and doubles competition regularly. Ivia competes in competitions and training off water in off peak seasons. |

Charlie Eastoe County Rower Charlie has been rowing competitively for the past four years now and represents his county in team races. Charlie competes in peak and off peak seasons. |

Martha Lewey County Javelin Martha has been competing in athletics for four years and has obtained county level at javelin ever since. Martha hold strong resilience and keeps pushing her PB each season. |

Nell Dunkerley County Netball Nell has recently gone to trails for county netball and been successful showing what she is capable of. Nell is a strong asset to the school Netball Academy. |

Immy Wood County Runner Immy is a member of Hunts AC and competes in both summer and winter season competing on Track in 800m & 1500m. In the Winter she competes in 3k with a PB of 12.21 minutes. |

Ernest Place, Tom Robinson, Isaac Lam County Hockey These three boys are now in their second year of county hockey and have been playing since a young age. They have also competed for the school travelling to Nottingham to showcase their skills. |
