Hinchingbrooke School is a larger than average 11-18  comprehensive secondary school (NOR 2180) and part of the ACES Academies Trust. There are currently over 400 students in the Sixth form who are drawn  predominantly from the school population, although around 30% are drawn from other institutions. The school's mainstream catchment area is Huntingdon and the surrounding villages to the South and West of the town.
