Communicating with School

If you need to speak to a member of staff, remember that teaching staff have very full timetables, break time duties and meetings. It is likely that staff will not be available if you ring or if you come into school hoping to speak to them. We recommend that you email first to explain your concerns and if necessary we will arrange an appointment with the appropriate person for you. Please follow the following stages of communication.

  1. Form Tutor / Subject Teachers
  2. Key Stage Assistant / Key Stage Manager
  3. Communications Manager

Student Planner

The student planner is the first point of contact for Form Tutors, please remind your child to bring the information to the attention of their Tutor/Teacher. The planner can also be used to provide notes about appointments during school time, including medical and dental appointments. If you child has been absent from school you should complete the appropriate page in the student planner

Contacting Staff

Key contacts can be found on the “Contact Us” section of the website. There is a short outline of what each person is responsible for.  We have also provided a list of all staff initials and Extn telephone numbers.  Staff can be emailed by putting their specific initials in front of the school email address. E.g.  xyz@hinchbk.cambs.sch.uk
