The National Careers Service was launched on 5th April. This replaces Connexions direct. For young people (aged 13 and over) this provides the website – nationalcareersservice.direct.gov.uk – and various ways of contacting an adviser - a phone line 0800 100900, webchat, email or texting service. Take a look and see if you find it user-friendly for young people.

- http://www.direct.gov.uk/en/YoungPeople/Workandcareers/index.htm - Gov. website on job vacancies, careers information and details about training. If you're aged 13-19 you can contact a Careers Adviser for information, advice and support on a range of issues affecting young people
