Hinchingbrooke School

Other Clubs

Hinchingbrooke has strong working relationship with lots of community clubs, if you are interested in taking part in any of the activities they run at our venue - please contact them directly using the information below:

Our lessons are completely ‘in house’ run by the School with all money going back to the school, and not a private swim scheme.

We want to encourage trust and good communication with not only our swimmers, but with our swimmers’ parent/guardians too. We aim to teach every child to swim through fun, enjoyment and age appropriate practices. We want them to develop steadily so the skills they learn will be with them for years to come.

We want to teach our swimmers to have fun, be safe and enjoy (and respect) the water. We will teach water confidence and survival skills.

We have a wealth of knowledge, some of our teachers have been teaching for 20 years.  In the past our teachers have taught in various different schemes, from private (no aids), to large groups all using aids...there’s no right or wrong way, but it’s nice to have the freedom to use aids and equipment if they are needed and only ever to help the student achieve the best they can.
