Music Celebration and World Record Attempt

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a special world record attempt on 13th May.

On this day about 600, adults, children, musicians and non-musicians alike are going to form the world's largest triangle ensemble and break the official Guinness Book of Records (with an adjudicator there to tell us on the night too!).

Striking for Gold - Cambridgeshire Music Celebration and World Record Attempt 13th May

Don't worry if you have never played a triangle before - all you need is yourself and we'll provide the triangle, beater and rehearse everybody on the night as part of our grand percussion concert, Striking Together for Gold.  There will be 150 percussionists on stage playing such favourites as "Wipe Out" and "Hawaii 5-0" as well as the special world record attempt.

The event takes place at Wood Green Animal Shelter near Godmanchester on Sunday 13th May at 5pm and the concert is expected to end around 7.15pm. Poster attached.

Tickets are £15 and £7 for concessions for a fantastic concert experience and include a souvenir world record triangle (worth considerably more than £7).  They can be booked via the Corn Exchange Box Office 01223 357851 and please book in advance so we can ensure we have enough triangles to go round!

With your support everyone will go away with a world record to their name, and the sounds of percussion in their ears.  Please tell your friends and send on our flyer if you wish.
