Pearson Teaching Award - National Event

The sixth form team attended the Pearson Teaching Awards ceremony held at Drury Lane Theatre on Sunday 20th October..........

The sixth form team were very excited to be invited to the national final of the Pearson Teaching awards on Sunday 20th October

The evening was hosted by Claire Balding, each award was handed out by a different person including; Ronnie Corbett, Sir Terry Wogan, Helen Ledera, Steve Backshall, Kate Garroway, Ester Rantzen, Suzanne Shaw, Dame Doreen Lawrence.

The evening ended with a performance from the musical Matilda.

The team back at the hotel, having reception drinks looking forward to the meal.

There were about 400 guests for the meal, the banquet room had very red lights hence our red glow! The night ended with an after dinner talk by Reeta Chakrabarti. We didn't win the national award, but we had a great time.
