Welcome to Religious Education

Religious Education at Hinchingbrooke is provided for all students in Years 7,8,9,10 & 11. The teaching is non-denominational and non-evangelical, seeking to provide a critical understanding and appreciation of Christianity and other faiths. Discussion of the relevance of religion to the world around us is a feature of many lessons and respect for other people's views is developed. We seek to encourage personal attitudes of reflection and tolerance through our work with students. The department also offers Religious Studies and a popular Philosophy course in Years 12 & 13 as well as an optional and increasingly popular Classics course in Years 8 & 9.
