AQA RE AS Level

Philosophy of Religion

This course will allow you to contend with the key questions which have confounded philosophers and theologians for centuries.

The course will allow you to consider both the arguments for and against the existence of God. Each topic you study though will require you to analyse and process complex ideas, evaluating the claims being made. You will need to asses whether these claims can be substantiated or whether they are tenuous conjectures!

The lessons will require students to debate and evaluate different ideas. Developing the skill of justifying opinions using evidence will be a difficult but essential skill to master.
The course is divided into 4 sections. Click on one of the links below to take you to the different topics you will be studying. There will also be revision material available at these links.
