   PEPYS HOUSE

Winners of the house trophy 2005/6

Welcome to the Pepys house website.  Hinchingbrooke school is split into four houses; Montagu, Vesey, Cromwell and Pepys.

Pepys house is named after Samuel Pepys the well known writer, famous for his diary that documented the coronation, plague and the great fire of London.  He owned a house in Brampton and worked as a secretary to Edward Montagu (the earl of sandwich) who lived in Hinchingbrooke house.
