BASKETBALL 2007

Basketball was a particularly successful interhouse event for pepys. We had great participation throughout the year groups, which translated to some great performances: 

Boys

Year 7:             2nd 

Year 8:             3rd

Year 9:             1st

Year 10:           4th 

Year 11:           2nd

These results meant we finished 2nd in both the lower and middle school trophy, gaining valuable points.  

Girls 

Year 7:             1st

Year 8:             2nd

Year 9:             2nd

Year 10:           2nd

Year 11:           2nd  

Again this resulted in good overall positions we won the lower school trophy and placed 2nd in middle school.

Congratulations to all those who took part.  As it was such a close competition it went to positions of everybody to see who won the lower and middle school trophies.  Due to our mass participation we came out as…….

PUBLIC SPEAKING COMPETITION  

Congratulations to Alfie and Lucy who won the year 9 public speaking competition with their debate on Fox hunting.

Congratulations also go to those who represented Pepys in year 8, we had two teams and came second for our discussions on euthanasia.
