Basketball

All students are given the opportunity in core teaching lessons to develop and improve their skills in our purpose built sports hall facility with eight hoops and backboards. In addition to this there is an outdoor court with purpose built posts, backboards and hoops. Basketball is represented in Inter house competition at all year groups to all allow pupils the chance to take part in competitive games and get a feel for the sport.

The school is keen to develop Basketball and takes part in fixtures with other schools at a regional level. This builds up to the school taking part at the regional championships at all age groups. Hinchingbrooke has a tradition of doing well at this event and our year 7 boys (06-07) are the regional champions and were undefeated at the tournament.
