After two years of top quality training with Northampton Saints coaches, Thomas Morgan and Karl Smith have been selected from many young rugby hopefuls from Eastern Counties, Bedfordshire and Northamptonshire to join Northampton’s “England Player Development Group”. They are two out of twenty 15 year old rugby talents who have been specifically chosen to benefit from access to players, professional coaches and top facilities at Northampton Saints and will learn all the latest techniques and skills from the very cutting edge of the game. This season 2007/08 will give them the opportunity to play against other premiership academies in what will be very competitive matches. The next step in their progression will be to be selected for the Junior Academy and to be one step closer to becoming a professional rugby player. |
