At Hinchingbrooke School we are delighted to have opened our new Food Court.
This modern facility showcases our new High Street style food offers with individual destinations, enabling students to choose which destination to choose from, according to the type of food they want. The destinations are;
- Global Adventures - Fantastic dishes with international flavours, a different country’s cuisine each day.
- Street Food – Choose from our Deep South Diner or Wings & Things concepts.
- Speedy Italian – Handmade, stone-baked pizza or steaming bowls of pasta
- Food to Go – Hot and cold take away snacks, sandwiches, salads and treats.
Each of our destinations is self-contained with drinks, desserts and side dishes on sale in each.
One of our biggest aims is to reduce queuing times, giving students more of their break time to enjoy themselves, not spending time queuing. Together, Parents and Hinchingbrooke School can help with this. Attached is a copy of the menu cycle, running for three weeks from this week. This is well advertised in the school, online and in the Food Court and copies are being given to take home. Please can you discuss these with your child, as making choices of destination in advance will reduce the amount of time your child spends queuing.
Our aim is to reduce the amount of cash we take at the tills. Using the cashless system speeds up the amount of time students spend at the till. We ask, where possible, if you could add funds to your child’s Parent Mail account online or encourage them to top up using the cash loader in the Food Court early in the day.
We have also attached a presentation about the new Food Court and how it will operate which will be delivered to students during Assemblies this week.
We hope all our students enjoy the news Food Court. Should you have any concerns or queries, please contact us and we will address them as best we can.
