Version 1

                    The texture is homophonic. (There is more than one part, but they are not independent.)

                    The accompaniment is chordal. (It uses chords.)

                    The rhythm is made up of crotchets and minims and a semibreve at the end.

Version 2

The melody is still rising at the beginning but is now scalic. At the end the descending melody is decorated with upper auxiliaries.

The tonality is still Major.

The texture is still homophonic. (This is because the melody and the accompaniment are not independent of each other.)

The accompaniment is still chordal.

The rhythm is now made up of quavers, crotchets and minims. In the second half of the phrase we see quaver triplets and a semibreve to finish with.
