We are regularly contacted by members of the public concerned about the behaviour of Hinchingbrooke cyclists on their way to and from school. We will be giving out a message to students in morning registration outlining the areas of concern and would like you to support us by discussing these issues with your child.

We would like to remind students, parents and carers of the medical room procedure and mobile phone policy.

Year 7 progress reports have been handed to Year 7 Form Tutors today for distribution to students.

We will be launching our new “Green Fingers Club” which will develop, plan and maintain our new vegetable patch.

Students from all years are welcome.

It has been brought to the attention of Cambridgeshire Constabulary and the Community Safety Team at Huntingdonshire District Council that a local young person from the Huntingdonshire area is organising a march and fly posting against ‘Joseph Kony’ in Huntingdon High Street on 20^th April 2012.

The Hinchingbrooke School Mathematics Website has been running for over 2 years now and has been greatly received by all. We are letting you know of some of the recent changes that have been made to the website and to quickly recap on what is available to our students in readiness for this summer’s examinations.

Please note that after Easter all the tills in Lower School will be operating ‘cashless’.

If students bring money into school they will be asked to top up their accounts using the cash loaders and will not be able to pay for items with cash at the tills. Whilst there is no minimum or maximum top up please note that the school cannot be responsible for large amounts of cash being bought into school.

Bell's Gone: What's On? provides an opportunity for students to come and have a chat with leaders of our clubs so they can find out more, sample wares, and perhaps have go at the opportunities open to them.

The Music Department Community Choir is meeting again. Rehearsals begin again on Friday 11^th May from 3.45-5pm for a few weeks in order to prepare some summer music for the Picnic at the House event on 10^th July.

On this day about 600, adults, children, musicians and non-musicians alike are going to form the world's largest triangle ensemble and break the official Guinness Book of Records (with an adjudicator there to tell us on the night too!).

The Hunts School Sports Partnership in conjunction with Grafham Water Centre would like to offer your child the opportunity to try out sailing and kayaking in our Beach Club on Mondays between 3.45pm – 5.45pm on Hinchingbrooke Country Park Lake starting Monday 11 June 2012
