Constitution
The school is Voluntary Controlled in status. The Hinchingbrooke Foundation owns the premises, and possesses endowments, the income from which can be used for
the benefit of pupils and young people from Huntingdon who are under 25, in
financial need and have at least two years’ education in a Huntingdon secondarylevel school or college.
The present Governing Body has places for four Foundation Governors of whom one must be a woman, and three nominees of the County Council. There are also seven
Parent Governors, three staff Governors and two community Governors. Governors are elected to serve for a fouryear
period. The Headteacher is a Governor exofficio.
