Anti-Bullying (ABC)
Worried about bullying?
Hinchingbrooke operates a zero tolerance policy towards bullying and treats all incidents of bullying very seriously.
There are lots of rumours and myths about what older pupils are like. We are pleased to say that most of our pupils are friendly and caring. When we visit you at primary school you can ask us direct questions about bullying, but in the meantime here is some general information.
- We promise to listen to and investigate all complaints about bullying.
- The best person to speak to is your form tutor.
- The school has an internal email system - you can email the ABC (Year 10 / 11 students) who will offer you support and advice.
- Most 'bullying' in Year 7 is really about friends falling out.
We believe that Hinchingbrooke will be a happier school if:
* we help and care for each other.
* we have respect for each other
* we treat each other in the way we would like to be treated.
