The HSA committee members are volunteer parents, grandparents and carers of Hinchingbrooke School children who raise funds for projects that will benefit the school’s students. In addition, the Association arranges events to raise the awareness of the HSA members (All parents, guardians and carers of Hinchingbrooke students are automatically HSA members) of the educational opportunities open to the students.

The HSA Social and Fundraising Committee would like to thank everyone who came along to the Quiz Night held on 18th March in the Library of Hinchingbrooke House.
This was a highly successful social evening attended by 146 people in 17 teams. The wining team received vouchers for money off of a meal at Number 4our restaurant and lounge, 4 The Quay, St Ives, PE27 5AR, which was kindly donated by the proprietor. We would like to thank Martin Chester and his team for once again providing some very challenging questions which were great fun.
The event raised £891.00 in total which is a fantastic amount.
Update on putting your funds to good use:
In just the first 3 months of 2011 the HSA have been able to fund the provision of a large Canopy to be built near the swimming pool to give crucial sheltered space for children to eat lunch outside, to carry out necessary repairs to one of the minibuses which we bought some time ago and make a considerable donation enabling the replacement of all the outdated desktop and laptop computers in the Learning Resources Centre. These make a huge difference to the school, especially at this time of financial constraint and we are extremely grateful to those of you who support all our fundraising efforts whether through evenings like this, our 200 club, uniform shop or any other means.
